About Me

Deirdre has 21 years professional experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

Following graduation from University College Dublin, Deirdre enjoyed 7 years in the UK working in occupational health, private musculoskeletal clinics and various sport settings -UK National Acrobatic Gymnastic Squad, Gateshead Harriers, Northumbria University soccer and rugby teams and Durham Cricket squad.

Returning to Ireland in 2007, Deirdre worked between the SE Physiotherapy Clinic, Stoneyford, Kilkenny, establishing her own caseload in Offaly, and being lead physiotherapist with the Offaly Senior Hurling Team from 2007-2011. She also completed her Masters in Sports & Exercise Physiotherapy (NUIG) in 2010.

In 2013, Deirdre opened her clinic premises to Roscrea, Co Tipperary and takes pride in the continued running a reputable and successful musculoskeletal physiotherapy practice. Her commitment to continuing professional development and evidence-based patient centered care culminated in achieving her Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Utica College, New York in 2020.
